well... where to begin... umm... ok you need to work on alot, first off you need to practice simple construction, the people look very deformed and unrealistic i would suggest one of these ive never used one but theyre supposed to work really well you just put it in a pose you want and draw it then turn it into a person instead of just a doll you can probably buy one at walmart, now you need to work on shading, you shade by "coloring in" (doesnt have to be color) with the side of the pencil, it is mainly used for lighting and shadows, in order for it to work you have to gradually adjust the ammount of pressure you put on the pencil as you move across the area you want shaded, also you appear to have a problem with making good curves which i can see by the horn on the left on the monster, theres not really much you can do for that except practice, you seem to be doodler so you don't put in as much detail as you should so you should add more detail when you're drawing more seriously, its also always a good idea to study an object or material before you ddraw it which i usually use google images for, some of the things you could have looked up for these are cracks, muscles, bones, hair, and fabric, also as a tip for hair hair is not usually drawn in precise detail but instead with a relative detailed solid color with highlights in it, finally just practice you will get alot better through practice
(btw i like the last one :3 hes filled with cartoony goodness)

i bought a mannequin before. it didn't really help.

you totally got me with the doodler thing. three things were doodles while i was watching bleach. the other i did in a boring class :P
i only put more work the top one

i know the "research what you draw" thing is really important, but i never know what i'm gonna draw until after it's like halfway done. i just start with like a circle or something, and i go from there.

i didn't really understand what you were trying to say about doing hair.

thanks for the cc :D

no prob, if a mannequin didnt help just study through pictures and works of others, but if you dont know what youre drawing until youre halfway done then when youre halfway done do the research so that it can help you with details, thats what i do, for the hair thing its all one color but has highlights which means if the hair is black it will be solid black except youll show white strands of hair where the lighting effects it, i hope thats more clear cuz i dont know how else to explain it, i doodle a lot to especially in my assignment book in class i jot down ideas in there whenever anything pops into my head, the top one looked a lot better when you touched it up in photoshop, but its better to get a picture as perfect as oyu can by hand before you edit it with anything so make sure to not get lazy with the hand drawing part just cuz youre good at photoshop

I don't really see many deformed areas on the people.
I think they are EPIC, and for hand-drawing.Wow, just wow.

thats becuz you arent an artist like me, pretty much everything is deformed, no offence sage, the monster is still awesome :) though it needs more shading

oooooh i see improvement, your drawings look kinda flat though, you need to make them look more 3dimensional which can be done using shading and also, i can see when you go with an anime style you start with a stick figure, which is good but you need to build on it more, youre cartoony ones are cool though :3

I would make the shoulder bigger and add more curves in some area's so its not so straight.
Pretty cool drawing :)

i think the straightness was a part of the stylization though, i dont think it was meant to look completely realistic

nice, that one looks pretty good, i like how you put in light and shadow effects, he still looks a little flat, and you could add more detail to the hair, other than that pretty good, and dang he looks depressed
