Re: Sage's Thread - Reorganized :3
This animation is very nice :)
Although it was very choppy at the end of the animation (mainly his head)
and the thigh of the person who's getting the living crud kicked out of him changes directions which in my opinion it should of eased forward
At the start when he goes for the first kick the leg pauses for like a second
These are just small things though...
the main thing I want to point out is the other sticks wobbly appearance at the start,
It is too quick... you got the smoothness down but I would ease more there and have extended the frames back little more to allow the animation to be longer
Good job on the combo :)
why is Sages thread in beginners?? He is Interz....

Re: Sage's Thread - Reorganized :3
well XPivotN00bX said mainly what i was going to say. but i can give u a few tips on things that you have done wrong :O
the wobbly appearance of the right figure, you got the " idea " but heres how you do it.
frame 1 : keep the figure in the pose.
frame 2 : doubled framed
frame 3 : move the figure's joint thats half way in the back, 1 pixle, and the top one, 1 pixle, the arms flow, move the first half of the arm 1 pixle and flow the other half. legs, the first joint moves 1 pixle. head flows.
frame 4 : double framed
frame 5 : move all those joints again by 1 pixle in the SAME direction, flowing the arms and head can start going inline.
frame 6 : double framed
frame 7 : stop the movements of the joints that arnt flowing, make the other joints flow.
frame 8: double framed
frame 9 : move the joints that arnt flowing 1 pixle back, flow the flowing joints. not much tho, like tiny bit.
frame 10 : double framed
frame 11 : move joints back a pixle again. flowing arms and head..
frame 12 : double framed.
well i could go on forever like that lol, but you get the idea. small, movements and double frame them. if its two figures. just keep moving the figure by a pixle and slow the flow down. :P
well you can do 1 or 2 pixles in the movement. as long as its a slow sway.
the feet DONT move :p
pretty sweet tho i liked it :P

Hey Hazza whats the point in double framing? To just make something slower and if the fps is too fast it skips some frames so you add a double frame so it doesn't skip?

Re: Sage's Thread - Reorganized :3
no, its a way to make a slow motion animation still smooth, not the smoothest, but still smooth enough, it gives a good slow motion effect.
you can move the joints pixle by pixle but you would spend hours getting the stiffness and shakeyness out of it.. its quicker to do double framing lol. and if you think its the wrong way and you wont get anywhere.
list,
everyone.....
lol :P
olixfix, picto, ipwnall, oblivionfall, dodsy, slushie ( dunno if he has changed his name yet tho -.- ), atoknirro, could go on forever naming everyone lol... but yeh, everyone uses it xD

Re: Sage's Thread - Reorganized :3
its smooth and all, but it seems like he is going down a slight slope, did you intentionally do that?
my advice on that is to make an invisible floor, or just have a normal floor lol XD
but other then that i like it XD
just the end seems rushed, try making him like walk off the screen or something xD
