Re: My very first Pivart
cuz im a real artist and find the idea of making "art" with a stickfigure animating program to be extremely stupid and pointless if youre gonna make art do it with a pencil and paper and im ok with photoshop cuz its actually made for art though i dont have as much respect for it as real hand drawn art

Dude, chill. XD
But it is pretty boring. You should position the feet, try to make a background, just a simple background if you're a beginner, more stick figures, and maybe a couple more things. It's good for a first but if you keep doing things like this, you're not going to get very many compliments at all. I'm just trying to tell you.

I dislike Pivart too because to me I find it pointless and a waste of time, but most of all I feel that the program pivot is a form of art and same with flash. Personally I prefer drawing and if you have Photoshop and don't use graphics tablets that to me shows true potential... If you do pivart and have a lot of time on your hands then thats great but I would prefer doing stick animations... Sorry wrong place wrong time but I saw Pajama's post and it got me to think.

Re: My very first Pivart
i love pivart.
i do it alot.
but thats just cuz when i have hit animators block and really dont want to animate i try other things.
i dont think its a a waste of time. i quite like it,
you still make figures and posittion them into a frame.
and you make the figures and add the poses in an art way that you couldn't animate with.
so i think its pretty good.
tho this pivot art is very plain and boring.
you gotta add backgrounds, effect, lighting, detail, figures in better poses.
all that stuff to make a good pivot art picture.
i do it alot.
