stiffness and smoothness

ok, this will show you smoothness and and how NOT to have something stiff.

this animation shows stiffness and bad smoothness:

the end of the arm isnt bending and unlike in real life too the arm doesn't go like this, each - is a pixel (its an exampled too so it isnt quite like my animation):
l-l--l---l--l-l it goes like l-l-l-l-l-l which isn't like real life, now some things you don't need to make realistic, but for these you do. other wise your animations will look not so good.
this is the right way for both:

the arm in real life would move like that. but if it were like a bendable pole, it would, and this is just an exampled. and it also goes like this
l-l--l---l--l-l

and there is smoothness when the arm bends too.
